Our 5-week Obedience Programme transforms dogs of all ages and breeds into reliable, well-mannered companions. Whether you're starting from scratch or refining existing skills, this comprehensive programme builds the foundation for a lifetime of good behaviour.
Through reward-based, science-backed training methods, you'll learn to communicate clearly with your dog whilst building trust and strengthening your bond. We focus on three core pillars: foundation commands for everyday reliability, advanced skills for real-world challenges and practical application in distracting environments.
Small class sizes (maximum 5 dogs) ensure individual attention, whilst group dynamics provide valuable socialisation and distraction training. By graduation, you'll have a dog who responds reliably to commands, walks politely on lead and behaves calmly in public - transforming daily life for both of you.

Before Your First Class
- Arrive 15 minutes earlier for debrief
- Avoid feeding your dog 2 hours before class (keeps them treat-motivated)
- Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes
What to Expect
Week 1: Assessment & Foundation
Individual skill assessment, introduction to reward markers, foundation commands (sit, down, stand), name recognition and focus exercises, loose lead walking basics.
Week 2: Duration & Distance Introduction
Building duration on stays (30-60 seconds), introducing distance work, recall from stay position, directional changes on lead, 'leave it' command foundation.
Week 3: Distraction Proofing & Real-World Scenarios
Working with distractions (treats on ground, toys, other dogs), recall from distance (10m+), threshold control at doorways and gates, introducing 'place' command, proofing loose lead walking.
Week 4: Off-Leash Training (Secure Area)
Off-leash obedience in fully fenced area, practising all commands with environmental distractions, polite greetings with people and dogs, emergency recall protocols, public space etiquette.
Week 5: Final Assessment & Graduation
Skills testing in distracting environment, troubleshooting individual challenges, creating personalised maintenance plan, graduation assessment and celebration, guidance for continued success.
