ADVENTURE WALKS
WELCOME TO OUR
WHAT ARE ADVENTURE WALKS?
We provide a structured walking service to ensure that your dog keeps up with their mental and physical exercise. Let us take that stress away from you when you are unable to give your canine what they need. Our professional trainers pick up your canine to introduce them to different environments in the forest as well as public areas. This exposure can help them be content when you take them out on your walk.
REQUIREMENTS
So we can make your dogs experience as positive as possible we want to ensure that your dog is suitable for Adventure Walks.
Your canine will need the following:
Motivated to learn
Basic Obedience (Not necessary)
Show positive interest in other dogs
Complete our pre-walk assessments
Commit to 1 x walk/week
WHAT TRAINING DO WE PROVIDE?
We have specific obedience commands that we will use out on our walks. So that all dogs understand the same communication from our trainers. We will teach your canine some of these commands in our Pre Walk Assessment. Each Walk that we embark on will also include training as well as we are always learning in all different situations and environments.
TRANSPORT AND SAFETY
We have all dogs travelling in our van that is equipped with safe crates for dogs all shapes and sizes. All crates have locks so they can be locked if need be. With Aircon and Rotary fans installed the ventilation is always flowing when in motion and stationary. Our van is steam cleaned frequently to ensure the possibility of transmission of pathogens is nil or highly reduced.
We also consider dogs who don't like to be travelling with others in their face, so we have separate crates for them to enjoy their own space while we are enroute. We know that some dogs take time to warm up to others, so we like to take our time with this. Our trainers are qualified in animal first aid to ensure that your canine is safe to and from your home
PRE WALK ASSESSMENT
Our Pre Walk Assessments are to ensure that your canine is suitable for the service we provide. This is a really important step as not all dogs may be suitable. We require all dogs to a minimum of two walks before being allocated into a pack. The first one will be done at your home with you present. We will run through some of the training methods that we provide. The other two will be done offsite to assess the canine's behaviour around different stimuli and environments.
If your canine is ready, we will slowly introduce them to dogs to ensure that this is not an issue for them. Healthy socialisation is required here as we cannot move forward without ensuring that the canine is able to show good signs of social behaviour.
We will give you updates how these sessions go and what may or may not need improving on. If all goes well we can allocate your dog into their pack. This is based on the temprement, energy, stamina and personality.

ADVENTURE WALK
We want to present our Adventure Walks which take pack walking to another level. We provide an excellent opportunity for socialization, allowing dogs to interact with other canines in a controlled and safe environment. This helps them develop better social skills and reduces the likelihood of aggressive behaviour
We provide a service where your canine will be able to explore all types of environments. Its busy public areas with foot traffic and vehicles to help with any potential uncertainties and build the confidence to be out in public with changing events happening all the time.
The alternating week we venture out to either our private land or the forest for our adventure. GIving your canine the experience of both public areas and the forest which will set them up for anything. We focus on training in areas such as this as it can be difficult in the regions that have competing motivators to ensure your obedience is still intact.
